Third-generation tailor who graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1980. Known for his intellectual aesthetic, eclectic prints, and sophisticated approach to fashion. Founded his eponymous brand in 1986, presenting his first menswear collection in London. Winner of CFDA International Designer of the Year Award in 2008. In 2018, PUIG acquired a majority stake in his company. Retired in June 2024 after 38 years, 150 collections, and 129 shows.
